Why people come to float

The effect is simple: less gravity, less sensory load, less noise. The body unwinds. The mind stops spending energy on constant input. Floating is presented here as a restorative practice, not as a medical treatment for specific conditions.

Deep rest and decompression

Floating strips away noise, pressure and constant input so the system can finally settle.

Better sleep and dream support

Many people leave feeling slower, quieter and more ready for real sleep. It can also pair well with dream recall and lucid-dream practice.

Muscular and joint relief

Weightlessness and warm magnesium-rich water help the body let go without effort or pressure on joints.

Clarity, meditation and creativity

The absence of light, sound and friction can open unusual space for focus, insight, emotional reset and fresh ideas.

What makes this one different

The R.E.S.T Pyramid at Canopy Village

This is not a generic wellness room dropped into a hotel. It is a private Gizeh-inspired pyramid inside the Canopy Village atmosphere: jungle stillness, intentional design, real solitude and a space built for deep inner quiet.

What the session feels like

Nothing complicated. You arrive clean, settle, float, shower, and leave with a very different internal tempo.

1

Arrival and briefing

You get a short introduction, practical guidance and enough orientation to enter relaxed rather than uncertain.

2

Clean body, shower and transition

Please arrive free of lotion, oils and heavy hair products. You use the toilet first, remove jewellery, rinse, shower well and step out of ordinary stimulation before entering the tank.

3

Up to 90 minutes of floating

The body becomes weightless. Breath slows. Thoughts often settle in layers until only presence remains. Swimwear is not worn inside the tank, and first timers may choose audio guidance or keep the door open.

4

Return, shower and integration

When the session ends, sit up slowly, let the salt water drip back into the tank, step out carefully and shower again. Most people feel clearer, softer, less compressed and more inside themselves again.

Good reasons to book

Jet lag. Burnout. Overstimulation. Creative blockage. Nervous exhaustion. Poor sleep. General need to come back to center.

Important before booking

Do not float if you are bleeding, have open or deep cuts, fever or active infection. Avoid alcohol, cannabis and other psychoactive substances before the session, and go easy on caffeine.

Before you float

The session goes better when the body arrives clean, simple and unrushed.

Preparation and hygiene

  • Arrive with no lotion, body oil or heavy hair products on the skin.
  • Use the toilet before the session. If you leave the tank midway, the session ends.
  • Remove jewellery and shower thoroughly. Some guests also start with a rinse in the rainwater pool before showering.
  • Swimwear is not permitted inside the tank. Earplugs and tying up long hair are recommended.
  • Dry your face well, especially around the eyes, before entering the pyramid.

During the float

  • Lie down diagonally to give yourself maximum space.
  • If salt water gets in your eyes, sit up, open the door and use the rinse solution provided.
  • If you touch a wall or feel a small itch, do not overreact. The point is stillness.
  • Trust the buoyancy of the water. You will not sink.
  • At the end, sit up slowly, stand in the tank briefly so salt water drains back, then shower thoroughly without soap.
